The uvex i-lite planet with clear lens is part of the uvex planet series which features sustainable manufactured models made from recycled, bio-based material. 39% of the side arm is made from the castor oil plant which is a biobased renewable raw material. The couplings and hooks are made of 22% recycled PET bottles and the soft face seal of the guard version is made up of more than 35% recycled granulate, which comes from production waste.
