Manufactured from durable flame-resistant fabric, this protective cape hood combines comfort, adjustability, and certified protection, making it an essential addition to a complete welding or industrial PPE system.

Engineered for maximum wearer comfort, the Bizweld™ FR Cape Hood features a comfortable fit with a self-fabric drawcord, allowing the hood to be easily adjusted for a secure fit around the face and head. The extended cape design provides additional coverage to the neck and shoulders, helping to reduce exposure to sparks, radiant heat, and other workplace hazards.

This hood is designed to be worn in conjunction with suitable flame-resistant protective clothing, such as an FR coverall or an FR jacket and trouser combination, to ensure full body protection and compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Constructed from high-quality flame-resistant materials, the Bizweld™ FR Cape Hood offers protection against radiant, convective, and contact heat, while also providing certified resistance to molten metal splash. The fabric is also rated UPF 40+, blocking up to 98% of harmful UV rays, making it suitable for both indoor fabrication workshops and outdoor industrial environments.

Care Instructions

To maintain the protective performance and extend the life of the garment:

• Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild wash cycle
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Line dry only
• Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C
• Do not dry clean
