The Howard Leight Quiet® QB1HYG replacement pods are designed to restore the comfort and performance of the compatible QB1HYG banded earplug system.

Patented band design: The QB1HYG design helps prevent pods from touching dirty or contaminated surfaces when not in use. Smooth ergonomic pods support a comfortable fit and dependable protection, while the lightweight portable format makes the product easy to carry and wear throughout the day.

Designed for intermittent use: The band is worn under the chin and allows quick insertion and removal as users move in and out of noise areas. Replacement pod versions help maintain hygiene and product performance over time.

Earplug Fitting & Maintenance Recommendations

Fit: Position the band under the chin and press the pods into the ear canal using an inward motion. Protection can be improved by pulling the ear up and back while fitting.

Check: In a noisy environment, lightly press the band inward or cup your hands over your ears to confirm there is no significant change in sound level.

Inspect: Prior to fitting, examine pods for dirt, damage or extreme hardness and discard if compromised.

Clean: Wash pods and band with mild soap and warm water only, then pat dry. Do not use other substances.

Replace: Replace pods every 2–4 weeks to support optimum protection and performance.

Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Refer to the product instructions for correct fitting guidance.
